Strategic Location
The Project capitalises on its proximity to offshore production of petroleum condensate feedstock in the Timor Sea and North West Shelf. The characteristics of the condensate contribute to the production of very high quality gasoline and blendstock for shipment to East Coast Australia as well as Asia and other regions. Some 20,000 bpd of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and marine fuel oil could be supplied to the local NT market, replacing imports from Singapore with ocean freight savings contributing to the refinery margin.

Project Site
The DCF plant will be located on Middle Arm where the ConocoPhillips LNG plant and the Inpex US$35 Billion LNG plant are located. With over 150 hectares available and a superior geotechnical profile this site offers more future expansion options and potential construction cost savings compared to the previous contracted site at East Arm. A marine pipeline system could connect the DCF site to the Vopak storage terminal and petroleum wharf at East Arm for import of condensate, delivery of product to the NT market, and shipment of export gasoline. There will be over 2 million barrels of storage for intermediate product, condensate and export gasoline at Middle Arm for which a separate wharf facility at Middle Arm and associated pipeline could be considered.
